Travelling to the Copper Canyon was the fulfillment of a long-held dream. Photos of the Canyon, with its dizzying splendour, enchanting colonial towns, and colourfully-dressed Tarahumara, had long beckoned, as had the desire for a more authentic cultural experience than what the coastal all-inclusives had to offer. We were not to be disappointed.
One of the true delights of our time here was finally meeting Cristina, the vibrant person who engineered this custom-made trip for us. From the moment we stepped off the bus in Los Mochis, Cristina, with her formidable knowledge of the area and her painstaking attention to detail, catered to our every need and made sure we had the trip of a lifetime. Sombreros off to you, Cristina.

We loved our trip, and thanks to you, your charm, your excellent planning,
and the fact that Cristina knows each and every person in or around
Barrancas del Cobre. Not a single major problem.

The hike in the Copper Canyon was fabulous, but very hard. We were all tired and happy to get to Batopilas. It was a world class adventure.
Thank you for helping us makes it possible.

Cristina, we had a great experience with you and on our hike with Diego!
The scenery was fabulous and the people were friendly and welcoming!

First of all I want to thank you for arranging the El Fuerte and Creel portions of the trip on a very short time line. El Fuerte was a great town, loved the Real de Carapoa and its location on the beautiful central square, the manager/owner was very welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. As you said in your outline, it is very cozy.
Our bird watching with Jesus was a great experience; he was terrific at pointing out and identifying the birds. I was absolutely enthralled with the Petroglyphs, they where beyond my expectation as far as quality and there where far more than I had anticipated. We felt that we could have stayed another day and gone out for a full morning of bird watching.
Creel, was less inviting but we went to the Raramuri Tarahumara Museum our last day in town and it was terrific. We found the Sierra Lodge to be very special and would definitely stay there again. It was a lot of fun going out to dinner with you, really happy that we could meet you; we will pass your name along to friends interested in touring the canyon.

Dear Cristina
It was great to meet you, and enjoy that great dinner. I think you are a very conscientious leader and I know your company will do well. I will recommend you to friends who want to go to the Copper Canyon.
Thanks for the great time. I am now back in the snow and working very hard to earn money for my next trip!

In summary - we absolutely loved the Copper Canyon vacation. It was
reasonably priced, not too far for us to travel from home, and unlike
anything we had seen before, although we are all "world travellers" (Andy,
as matter-of-fact, is on the plane to China, even as we speak!!!) This trip
could easily fit into other travel plans, such as Mexican resorts, the Baja,
or New Mexico, as we did! We have many happy memories!
Joy Gilbert, from Toronto Canada

We have the fondest memories of you and the Barranca. Best wishes to you and family!
